Webcomics seem to be a growing Internet-based business, as more and more artists turn to the net to publish their work. And although the majority of them now are amateur artists, i sense it won't be long till it catches the mainstream's attention.
Anyways, some interesting Webcomics i follow, most of them are gaming-related or RPG here, so some jokes might not make much sense to non gamers lol:
Megatokyo
A doujinshi comic, basically a comic done by a fan of anime, which might mix several animes in. This one focuses more on relationships. But I like Largo more than Piro. 1337.
Order Of the Stick
Rather amusing RPG-centred strip whose characters are, well, stickmen. But don't let that put you off.
Ctrl-Alt-Del
A gaming centered comic, the art has a nice, clean format.
8 bit theater
Ah, pixellated RPG-parody goodness. This one is so popular its spawned a Flash version of the comic.
VG Cats
Some very nice art by an apparent Macintosh artist, his art has some exaggerated proportions but its all good.
Squidi
This one has several storylines, and its quite a good read. Characters in the comic are midget-sized so layout is easier to do, and saves the artists the effort of drawing every gesture.
I must caution that most, if not all of these web comics contain inane and insane nonsensical crap that makes you go "OMGWTFLOL!?!?", and should be taken for entertainment value only. And most of them have no clear storyline. Don't blame me if your sense of reality becomes warped as the result of reading them. :p
Also, i'm happy to say that the mod i'm part of has got some nice PR from PC Gamer UK, who did a feature on our mod for Battlefield 2: Mech Tactical Simulation
