Holier Than Thou

I've never been the religious kind, never had to rely on it to succor my emotions nor needed it to figure out life. Another reason why i never took up any religion is because i've met many, many hypocrites who don't practice what they preach, and to make it even worse, have a holier-than-thou attitude towards "non-believers". I can live without more people trying to act superior, thank you very much.

That being said, i do occasionally give support and help to activities and events held by some christian youth groups that i deem worth my help, mainly due to one of my longtime friend's influence and also because there are actually people who are "good christians". Me, I've always believed in my own code of ethics and conduct. However, i've had enough long debates over the many contradictions and discrepancies in religion and its beliefs to be rather tired of the subject, so we'll leave it at that.
