Today was "one of those days." Just when i thought it couldn't get any worse, it did. Hahaha. Sounds cliched, but its true.
First thing was i woke up with a throbbing headache, and noticed i had only 10 minutes to get to class. So it was scramble time, which only made the incessant drumming stronger.
Upon reaching the classroom, i found it was being "carpeted", and none of my classmates were to be seen. Then remembering that i had received an sms late the previous night about a change of venue for classes, i found that i was supposed to go to one classroom in the PB block, which meant another walk and more wasted minutes. All the while with some mad gremlins pounding away in my head.
Then, to my utter surprise, the classroom contained a sea of unknown faces, and realised i've been had again. And to make things worse, my bloody phone conveniently had one of its "Sim Card Error" fits again. No chance to contact anyone. So it was back to the PC block again. By a chance, i happened to bump into one of the PR students there, who informed me that besides the change in venue to PB, this particular venue for my course was also switched with that of the the PR students. By this time, i'm already one and a half hours late, and i'm beginning to feel that fate is going all out to shower me with bad luck.
So, with 10 minutes left to spare, i finally found the classroom. Luckily the lecturer was understanding, and i got off without any penalisation.
Fate seemed to have been satisfied at this point, and "only" gave me a sudden nosebleed (which, for the record i haven't had in around 10 years already....) when i went out to lunch at the mamak with Woon. Hehe everyone looked a little worried at the bloody tissues. Probably wondering who i murdered or something. :P
But i'm still rather pissed off that we had such short notice on these changes in venues ,which i later deduced was due to the fact that some bigshot ViPs were coming to tour the place (Dato' Seri Ling Liong Sik himself came last week to see our efforts in collecting donations for the Tsunami fund thing) and give some talk or another soon, hence all the frenzied "carpeting". But for some reason, seeing him in person didn't excite me one bit, unlike all those people (mostly staff i think) standing around, hoping for some attention. Which also seemed kinda sad for some reason.
Maybe i'll try to force a nosebleed when the "bigshot" comes and tell him to increase the funding for my uni so students won't need to pay so much for books, hehehe. :P
