I am dead tired. Just got back from a very, very exhausting trip to the "Golden River". Got up at 8am in the morning, blurry eyed, to the sound of my phone's alarm, reminder alarm, and my bedside clock's alarm. Apparently i had forgot to not set all 3 at the same time yesterday night....
Got my lazy ass off the invitingly warm bed to go about my ablutions, then took the LRT to KL, meet SY to catch the bus. Arrived a little early, so got a quick breakfast at Mc (yes, i know its bloody unhealthy crap to eat in the morning...). Haha, and she arrived right on time, a rare thing for Malaysians lol.
Met up with the others without much trouble, and proceeded to the K in Low Yat. And i gotta tell ya: they are one of the craziest people i've met lol. They behave more like PR students than JR hehe. The session was really great, tho mostly chinese songs, i knew some of them already and got several personal english faves in as well. Also, when the bill came, we weren't charged a whole lot more than expected, like what happened a couple of times in Sg. Wang's K when i was with some other friends. Plus, we got about 15 minutes extra "screeching" time, cause the staff didn't disable the console hehe. Great stuff.
Did some "new year" shopping after in the complex, got 3 nice tees for 45 bucks then loitered about looking at the cool-but-insanely-overpriced stuff. Guess i'll have to settle for just getting new shoes.... jeans and slacks here are just too damn expensive.
At around 5pm, everyone finally decided to call it a day. Had dinner with SY, HY and CH in Central Market (by now, its already 7pm....) before taking the LRT back to Taman Jaya and trudging back home.
Sigh. Guess its back to the grind again. I've a ton of work still waiting to be done. But i guess its things like these excursions that makes the "grind" tolerable. :P
